New Year in Nepal 2025

Some good news from Nepal.

We are making great progress on the house for our beneficiary family in the town of Bhaktapur.

We have already cleared the site, done the blessing ceremony, and are building a new permanent, safe, and comfortable house for the family.

As you recall, 650,000 homes we destroyed in the earthquake of 2015—that’s why we still have work to do there 10 years later— long after the world’s attention has moved on and other catastrophic disasters have occurred.

Since 2016 MicroAid has had a full-time, local project manager who keep things on track, for us and the families. And it’s another way that MicroAid helps people: by giving them jobs.

So, thank you for sticking with us… and them.

MicroAid works where there are no social safety nets, no insurance, and no real government assistance. Without us, these families would be completely out of luck.

We are providing an essential service that is changing the lives of the people we touch.

Thank you for being part of that.

Namaste,

Jon Ross

Founder/project manager
